To enable visitors to the Bannau Brycheiniog visitors centre to get the most out of their visit and discover walks, activities and places of interest across the National park, while also learning about the conservation work of the National Park.
Using interactive projection, we created a giant interactive touch-wall so that multiple visitors could simultaneously interact with a giant map of the Brecon Beacons National Park to find walking trails, activities and discover more about the management of the park, its heritage fauna and flora.
We introduced an interactive game, ‘Bog Boffin’, to help visitors to understand the peat bog restoration work that is being undertaken across the park together with a regularly updated ‘Rangers Journal’ to give visitors an insight into the work carried out throughout the seasons. We also incorporated live weather data from different locations around the park so that visitors can get a better idea of conditions higher up the mountains before setting out.
A back-end CMS allows the team at the centre to update the content whenever they need to.
